ADU and New Construction Questions

Most ADUs require either a dedicated subpanel or a separate main panel depending on the structure type, local jurisdiction requirements, and whether separate utility metering is requested. We determine the correct configuration for your specific ADU during the free site visit and quote accordingly.

We communicate directly with the GC superintendent, attend pre-construction meetings where required, and coordinate our rough-in, trim, and final phases around the GC schedule. We provide our contact information directly to the GC and are available by phone throughout the project.

We file the electrical permit as a sub-permit under the main building permit or as a standalone electrical permit depending on the jurisdiction. We manage inspection scheduling for rough-in, cover-up inspection if required, and final. You receive a complete permit documentation package at project close.
